PREVIOUS UPDATES - JANUARY - FEBRUARY - MAY

The Rough Draft Ultimatum Edition release has been delayed, due to the low amount of Pre-Orders - roughly 30 since it went up in June - and a formatting error on about 40 pages (many of them  being compilation pages that were mistakenly formatted on the smaller digest size of the original Rough Draft). The release is pushed back to mid or late November, as I try to raise funds to cover the printing costs. If you haven't pre-ordered your copy, there's still time to get a free limited edition Rough Draft sketch card!



I've been very sick during the summer - after completing the June/July queue of 30 commissions, a record-high heat wave has lingered in Seattle from July to September - which would have been tolerable, except it was combined with living above a pizza joint's hot kitchen / ovens and being in a city where A/C is not built-in. I've been puking, sweating profusely and even ruined a few artworks due to un-erasable smudges and leaky markers and ink. I'm hoping that the temperatures will start to cool in October, and one thing's for sure - by next summer, I need to find a different place or invest in a window A/C unit.

I really need some help, as I also haven't received many orders through the Online Store. I posted many art prints and the Rough Draft book to help cover costs until the eBay situation is fixed (hopefully by the October 20th review date) and both were options I tried to come up with to prevent resorting to a third option, a Patron Section of the website - a monthly subscription with all of the prints available, as well as a gallery of all my artworks, rough sketches, etc. I've been holding off against a pay section, as I believe it will do more harm than good - as I'd remove roughly 90% of the images on deviantArt, possibly ask the Google Group to shut down, and eliminate the Online Store (the PayPal subscription seems to conflict with the ZenCart). I truly believe that would be a bad move, limiting exposure, upsetting fans, and having a pay site with no porn involved. Plus with torrents and file-sharing, I think most people would go that route of spreading my art. I want to prevent the pay-site option, tho I'm desperately trying to raise funds to survive.  I've been trying my hardest to do it, while still paying for my Atripla medication.
